CTHANK YOU for attending “Open House.” We take great pleasure seeing our preschoolers proudly showing grandparents, siblings, etc., where they come to do their “work”. Your overwhelming support is appreciated.  Many of you were so generous with your donations to the raffle/auction.  We are very grateful to you all.  And, a special thanks to our hard-working Nursery School Board members Jenny Walker, Christine Wendl, Tracy McNiven, Marilyn Russell and Marianne Low.

CVALENTINE EXCHANGE at preschool will be Friday, February 10 and Tuesday, February 14 (no school Monday, February 13).  Each child may bring signed valentines, with no names on the envelopes. This makes it easier for the cards to be passed.  Also, we would appreciate it if no party favors, balloons or gift bags were distributed in the classroom.

CNO SCHOOL  Monday, February 13 and 20, Lincoln and Washington birthdays observed

CPARENT - TEACHER CONFERENCES are Thursday and Friday, March 1 and 2.   More information will follow.  No classes these days. No lunch bunch or stay & play Thursday. Childcare for your preschooler and siblings is available in the church nursery during your conference.

C2012-2013 PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION for active members of this Methodist Church is ongoing.  Registration begins March 7 for returning families and March 21 for the community.  Registration packets are available in the office. Only children new to the school need a physician’s report. The deadline for returning all forms is August 15. If you have friends interested in registering, have them come see the school and pick up a registration packet prior to March 21.  A five morning PreK class will be offered next year.  Younger children may attend five days by registering for a three a.m. and 2 a.m. session.

CTWO REMINDERS:  We would like our children to have healthy snacks at preschool.  Also, please be sure to check the ingredients, especially if there is an allergy in the class. ~ AND ~  Please label all your child’s clothing, especially jackets and sweaters.

CARTWORK for EDUCATION:  We are going to try this fundraising program.  Your child’s artwork can be printed on high-quality products.  Check out the samples of note cards on the hallway board.  They make wonderful gifts – think Mother’s Day for Grandma.  If you would like to participate, you must fill out the permission form that will accompany your order and the artwork. Your child’s artwork is being displayed in their room.
